Where should cropped jumpsuit finish on leg?!

I bought (what I think is) a lovely jumpsuit a few months ago. It's a perfect fit in the body, which I have never been able to find before and a heavy material so it hangs and drapes well enough to be flattering. So i'm keeping it. However, it needs shortening in the leg, but by how much? Whereabouts on my leg should a cropped jumpsuit sit?

For me, that finishes fine. Mid calf. Personally I think the small heel on the shoe makes it look awkward, needs to be a higher heel or flats. Only my opinion of course :) if you feel it'd be more comfortable, take it up a little but I think any higher and it's going into "long shorts" territory... which is never good!

It looks good as it is.

Really? Because it currently finishes at the bottom of my calf where it tapers towards my ankle. Great if I don't need to faff around turning up though!

It's perfect as it is.

Narrowest point is the most flattering - I think it looks good where it is.

Fashionista101 · 07/01/2019 10:06

I'd take it up a couple of "

Pin it up and see what you think. I think if you take it up it'll change the look altogether and it will be more of a culotte than a cropped leg.

Ok thanks everyone. I'm quite short so used to taking up every pair of trousers and just assumed I'd have to do the same here! Will pin up as pp suggested and see.

They are also wiiide legged, so wonder if it's also a perception thing: the heels I was wearing are 8cm so I don't want to go much higher! Although I agree they don't work, I'll try a chunkier heel to make them more balanced. I just grabbed the nearest pair to take the picture.
