i love watching Mrs Maisel on Amazon, and am very jealous of the fabulous coats - colourful and really standing out.

where can I get a modern version? something warm enough to wear on a commute (no thin unlined coat) but with more style than my puffy black overcoat.

your best bet is searching for 50s and 60s vintage coats, you can easily have them relined for bit more warmth.

i remember reading that Mad men costume designer Janie Bryant, dressed January jones in some vintage clothes , her cream swing coat ,scarves, were all vintage finds.
