Just discovered Benefit Lemon Aid (eyelid primer) is discontinued! Alternatives please!

I went to Boots to buy a new Benefit Lemon aid eyelid primer and when I couldn’t find it I googled and apparently it was discontinued in 2017! It’s a testament to how long a pot lasted that I’ve only just realised Shock

I need an alternative, any suggestions please? I’d prefer something that can be applied with fingers but at open to suggestions. IIRC I used to spend about £20 on this so am happy to spend similar for something that lasts.

I really hate when Benefit do this, I’ve lost many of my faves over the years and still desperately mourn the loss of the Georgia box o’ blush from the range Sad

Amazon sell a brand called W7 and they do an eyelid primer called "lemon meringue". I bought it so can't link without showing my account details but reviews said it is a decent dupe. I have lost it in the Christmas mess so haven't used it yet to know if it is as good as Benefit.

I used to use lemon aid. Now use Barry M colour corrector (the liquid with the doe foot). It's super cheap and I find it very effective.

Urban decay eyelid primer is excellent

The Urban Decay or Too Faced eye primers work really well for me, I have oily lids. Benefit always discontinue my favourite products!

Oh no! I hVe a tiny scrap left from one I bought 5 years ago. I first bought it when I went back to work after my 1st DS 14 years ago, and it made me look relatively human again.

NYX have an orange toned one that works really well. Is cheaper than benefit as well.

NYX
I also really like makeup revolution concealer in one of the lightest shades as a primer under eyeshadow

Brilliant, thank you so much for these suggestions I’ll check them out! Smile

@rainbowgrimm does that one affect the colour of the eyeshadow when you apply it on top?

Sorry, just realised your using it as an eyelid primer (you did say it really clearly!) I use it for undereye dark circles which is what the orange NYX one is for, to counteract the blue/black colours. NYX do a different little pot of eyelid base but it's kind of flesh colour.
Not that it matters as it's been discontinued, but have I been using it wrong under my eyes? It works really well to hide dark circles, I thought that was what it was for!
