I always get jnto a flap when buying anything other than jeans or trousers! Im going out with the OH, we dont go out often so going to make an effort,so was thinking of a nice dress, nothing over the top, smart/casual.

Whilst out shopping with DD today i saw these dresses, whats your opinion on them? Thanks

I like the second one more, but they’re both nice.

NigellasGuest · 05/01/2019 17:24

I much prefer the first, FWIW!

Jacksback · 05/01/2019 17:26

First one

pangolina · 05/01/2019 17:42

First one

JosephineHass · 05/01/2019 17:44

Second one.

I wear dresses a lot but I’m not really very keen on either of those.

TSSDNCOP · 05/01/2019 17:46

I like both but the first one edges it for a night out. Can you style it?

Olivecake · 05/01/2019 17:48

They’re both nice but personally I prefer the first - would look great styled with bare legs, ankle boots and a biker jacket.

Kenworthington · 05/01/2019 17:48

First one is by far the best

mynameiscalypso · 05/01/2019 17:50

First for me too. I'm tempted to buy it myself!

Pinkprincess1978 · 05/01/2019 17:50

I would wear the second but not the first. But then I'm plus size.

BedraggledBlitz · 05/01/2019 18:03

I think both are good options for the sort of "casual but with a dress" night you've described. I think second is the easiest option in terms of black tights, goes with most jackets.

KirstymcKee90 · 05/01/2019 18:05

Love the 2nd! Actually went to buy it but they've sold out my size :(

Pearlgrey1 · 05/01/2019 18:51

First x

Aginplease · 05/01/2019 18:54

Thanks everyone, i do feel better in the first, im not sure im brave enough for bare legs, maybe nude tights in the winter! I do have dressy black boots and a leather jacket. Id probably wear with some black earings, no necklace

First is lovely, I bought the same shape in leopard from there but took it back because I hadn’t noticed the hem and the hanky hems looks terrible on me.

Aginplease · 05/01/2019 19:15

Thanks. I have one similar to this that i have worn twice, so i will probably revert back to that!!
