Blisters on top lip after waxing

In an attempt to deal with my burgeoning moustache, I waxed my top lip. Now I’ve got several little blister type things which are mucho attractive.

Have I completely ballsed up the waxing?

Was it hot wax or strip? It sounds like a burn from hot wax tbh

No it was a strip.

Could be a reaction to the wax, did you cleanse before waxing and did you put anything on afterwards?
Also could've been caused by not pulling the skin taught enough, it can pull off the top layer of skin and make it weep.
