Easy skincare routine

I need some recommendations for new skincare products/routines. I have a toddler who doesn’t sleep well and a new baby and have become so lazy with my skincare. I rarely wear makeup so not really worried about removing that but most nights I cannot even face using a face wash so just use a wipe or some toner quickly but I’ve noticed my skin is getting quite bad. I’ve always had quite greasy skin, previously I generally used an exfoliating wash most days.

I’m hoping to find some sort of miracle cleanser that can be swiped on with cotton wool and magically keep my skin looking fairly fresh. Does anything like that exist?!

TIA

I find the hot cloth cleanser is really good, Aldi occasionally do a version and it’s brilliant but when not in store, Liz Earle is the more expensive version. Apply and rinse off with a cloth with hot water, easy and keeps skin looking good as not a huge routine but enough to keep you looking fresh.

As you can see from my skincare posts I’m a skincare addict .

You need a wash on wash off cleanser .
Sunscreen
Retinol
Night moisturizer

This is it in reality .

I’d recommend the below basic routine - I got my mother onto this and her skin has vastly improved ;

  • AM
LRP Toleriane cleanser Superdrug hydration serum £2.99 Suncreen

PM
LRP cleanser
Superdrug hydration serum
LRP effeclar duo on spots
The ordinary retinol 0.5 ( twice a week building up to every night ) £5
Cerave moisturizer

Your skin might actually be greasy because it’s dry/dehydrated

I find I'm ok with morning routine but not evenings - knackered like you op.

What I try to do is use a cleansing water - currently using a clarins one (orange flavour) - it's a bit expensive but it does the job better than cheaper ones in my experience.

Then I'm loving the M&S 8 hour night cream.

The Superdrug hydrating serum that a PP referred to is great too

I reckon the cleansing water & moisturiser should make a difference.

Try and wash your face ect eell before its time for bed thay way when y oiu are knackered you already have a clean face
Its important you clean yoir face before bed or you will get bad skin over time esp of you wear makeup.
Stay away from facial wipes. All they do is smudge the dirt about your face they have been shown to be bad for yoir skin and are so drying. They dont clean effectively
Use a cleansing lotion, facial wash, toner,, and skin care cream and your skon Will start to improve.
