Lovely

Livpool · 03/01/2019 14:39

Oh they are lovely! Plus perfect for all seasons. I want them myself Smile

Soontobe60 · 03/01/2019 14:40

Nah! Old fashioned and very expensive!

Pearlgrey1 · 03/01/2019 14:52

If you are 50plus yes
If younger then no

LardLizard · 03/01/2019 16:06

Seen them at biscester for 60 pounds

OhDearBeer · 03/01/2019 16:27

They're a bit dated. I think you could do much better.

LardLizard · 03/01/2019 16:33

I don’t really like the more modern clumpy shoes, after something delicate gold and strappy and not too high
And ideally without a strap round the ankle that cuts your leg off

What do you think would be better for about 60pounds budget
Maybe bit more

I love a gold sandal but I agree they are dated and really depends on your age range.

VictoriaBun · 03/01/2019 16:37

You would probably find ones much like that for a lot less money. Baring in mind they are more occasional wear - I'd buy cheaper ones and put the difference into ones that you'd wear more often.

LardLizard · 03/01/2019 16:49

Think I need a pic of what you mean some more modern gold shoes

How about these? Jenny packham reduced to £20!

I want some stroppy gold heels too!

Cheekyandfreaky · 04/01/2019 09:38

OP I think they’re kind of cool in a retro way. I would wear them with a jumpsuit (in my head because jumpsuits don’t suit me).

brassbrass · 04/01/2019 09:42

They look like old lady shoes sorry.

LardLizard · 04/01/2019 09:46

Thanks for the ideasoon to be but I’m not a fan of t bars don’t suit me for some reason and I’m trying to avoid an ankle straps that cut the leg off

OP posts:
LardLizard · 04/01/2019 09:47

Can anyone post any gold shoes or metallic shoes that are not dated then

No ankle strap, mid heels

brassbrass · 04/01/2019 10:16

I totally agree with you about the ankle strap btw. Especially the ones attached from the heel. They just cut your leg off yuk

Torsz · 04/01/2019 10:17

Ooh love the dune ones!!

MsMamaNature · 04/01/2019 10:19

Not strappy but definitely party shoes:

Similar to the style you chose:

Gorgeous, but pricey.

canigetaliein · 04/01/2019 10:22

Is it even possible to get modern strappy sandals without an ankle strap? I hate sling backs as they offer little support & slip down.

These are amazing but ££££
