Has anyone tried this make up? Seems very good by reviews etc, and is very expensive - which makes me think it probably is good?

Any reviews??

I have a few products and do like them. The lipsticks have great staying power. The moisturiser is lovely. Expensive but not much more than that clarins cream I would normally buy.

I wasn’t keen on the liquid eyeliner or the foundation.

BiggFactHunt · 01/01/2019 13:36

I have a couple of Colour Chameleon pencils and they’re great. Haven’t tried anything else though.

winsinbin · 01/01/2019 13:49

I’m not a fan, I think it is overpriced and overhyped. . The wonder cream was too heavy and over scented for me. The Chameleon Eye pencils dried out and went scratchy very quickly. I quite like one lipstick though but it was shockingly expensive.

Holidayshopping · 01/01/2019 13:51

I have a couple of her lipsticks. The colours are lovely (one is Bitch Perfect, I forget the other) and they last. They smell lovely as well!

RNBrie · 01/01/2019 13:52

I have some, not fussed about it at all.

Ifonlyiweretaller · 01/01/2019 13:58

I love the lipstick - I have ''Tell Laura" and it has amazing staying power.

LaurieFairyCake · 01/01/2019 14:07

I bought a face palette in the Black Friday sale and I think it's the best makeup thingie I've ever bought. It was an impulse buy as I've always thought palettes are shit as you only use one or two of the colours.

I saw a 3 minute video on how to put it on - really dead simple and I can do it in about 2 minutes. Pretty much in the dark.

Will use all of it up - just really easy 'face' for me.

I got a free 30ml perfume - scent of a dream with it - used it every day in December- many lovely comments on it (it's quite an unusual smell). Got 15ml of the magic cream - love that too.

Bought the pillow talk lipliner - I just use it over lip balm and it's exactly the colour of my lips and just makes me look filled in. It's perfect for me.

I also use one of the thick grey sparkly eye pencils every day - doesn't budge

Literally sounding like an advert now Grin

The face tan I used overnight last summer for most of the summer was very subtle on my pale skin - again, perfect for me.

driggle · 01/01/2019 14:14

I tried the Light Wonder foundation after reading great reviews but it massively irritated my skin so I stopped using it after the first use.

Luckingfovely · 01/01/2019 14:18

Dramatically overpriced for fairly average products.

Ellapaella · 01/01/2019 14:27

I have the Pillow talk lipstick. I'm afraid I would have to dispute that they have staying power, this one definitely doesn't, it lasts all of about 10 minutes. The colours are lovely but really not worth the price tag imo.

SureIusedtobetaller · 01/01/2019 14:31

The beach sticks are nice if you like a natural look.

anxious62 · 01/01/2019 14:34

Lightwonder foundation is the best I have found for me.

I don’t like the mascara or skincare. The powder compact is lovely as are the palettes and most of the lipsticks.

BiggFactHunt · 01/01/2019 15:31

Oh hang on, I completely forgot that I bought the Healthy Glow. Looked amazing at first but I was a shiny, orange mess after a couple of hours.
Gave it to my SIL but always forget to ask her how she got on with it.

Oogle · 01/01/2019 15:34

I’m not a fan of the lipsticks. I had bitch perfect- beautiful colour but I didn’t like how it went on and didn’t find it lasted too long either.

I personally find Mac lipsticks, especially the matte ones, to have the best staying power.

SinglePringle · 01/01/2019 15:36

I love the Flawless Filter, Pillow Talk lip pencil, eye crayons and lipsticks. Great products.

anxious62 · 01/01/2019 17:04

I’m going to add to negative on the tinted moisturiser. Wore this on holiday where it was quite warm. My husband and son looked at me and said my face had gone completely white. Great when indoors for a glow bit outside in the heat and it’s not great

winterisstillcoming · 01/01/2019 17:11

I have the glow palette and love it as it's a look in one compact. It's great for travelling with. I also love the highlight as it's light and smooth but very effective. Other products are so so. I'm dying g to try the mask thingy but can't justify the price.

Oswin · 01/01/2019 17:13

The flawless filter is one of the best things I've ever had.

EatSleepRantRepeat · 01/01/2019 17:24

I've tried it but not a fan - I have oily skin and eyelids, and can't get anything to stay on longer than an hour. Constant touch-ups required and I found the foundation clogged my pores. It's a shame as I like her ideas, but can't justify paying that when urban decay, bareminerals etc are cheaper and last all day. I just wish I could find a long-lasting dupe of the CT face palette

sparklesrose · 01/01/2019 19:26

I haven't ever used any CT products before but asked for the Hollywood flawless filter for Christmas in the hope it'll make my skin dewy and glowy- the good news, it DEFINITELY does! I had read that some women just use it as a foundation but I didn't think I'd be able to as I love full coverage, but honestly it makes my skin look so smooth and healthy that I have been doing! I put foundation over it last night for NYE and loved the look it gave. The bad news- so pricey for what it is. I have to use quite a lot of it too so I'm not sure if I'll buy it again myself or wait until someone can get it as a gift for me.

FozzieMK · 01/01/2019 19:35

I have used the Magic Night Cream for the last couple of nights and it is rather like smearing Vaseline on your face. It has a medical smell and does not sink in at all. Not sure about the benefits yet, but I don't think I will continue using it because of the texture.

SoEasilyCaught · 01/01/2019 19:37

I recently bought a Colour Chameleon pencil. It looks nice when it first goes on but it doesn't last particularly well.

Deathraystare · 02/01/2019 11:10

Put off it owing to the price but have heard that Rosie for M&S are cheaper dupes for some of the products.

babasaclover · 03/01/2019 18:45

Thanks everyone. For now I've chickened our and bought an Elizabeth Arden foundation for £25. Went on very nice this morning and seems a nice quality and comes in a pleasing glass bottle. I'm such a sucker for packaging Grin.

Read an article about NARS concealer being voted the best in the world today so may try that soon. £24 not too bad, would last ages

UserMe18 · 03/01/2019 18:52

I've been eyeing up pillow talk for over a month but can't justify the price tag when I can't even try it first!
