Down jackets that are slightly longer?

Morning, I’m after a lightweight down jacket for when the weather warms up a little. Have tried on several which have been an inch or so too short - I’m not super tall but am long bodied. I’ve been looking at the uniqlo jackets, but suspect they’ll also be slightly too short. Are there any brands which are slightly longer in the body? Ideally on the cheaper side.

Menswear is generally the perfect length but unwearable because it’s not cut to fasten over my chest.

Zara have a good selection. They might have a longer style.

Unfortunately it’s a no for Zara, they look very, very short.

Rab do an alpine jacket and then an alpine in a slightly longer length. But it's more sporty/climbing than fashion.

Gap and banana republic are cut quite long in their regular line and also do a Tall fit

If you can find a stockist of Schneider coats, there is usually a mid-thigh option.

Rohan Cocoon coat, I'm tall, this comes to mid thigh length, super light weight and warm, my best buy this year, love it!

mine from mountainwarehouse is not quite arse covering, they have an online sale...with some excellent reductions too

but they have lots of choice.

I've got a Uniqlo down coat (not jacket), about 3 yrs old. It comes to my lower mid thigh (if that makes sense!!!). I'm long bodied / short leg.

I'm wondering the exact same thing! Like the lol of the unique lightweight jacket but I know I'll be pulling it down all the time.

Have you ever tried anything from a tall range? Maybe that's the way us long bodies should go?

I have a Trespass one that is knee length, so more a proper coat than a jacket. It’s very warm though, and as the winter so far has been mild, I’ve only worn it about three times.

HM do long ones. There was one I was going to get but the size that fitted me, the arms were too short and the one with the right length arms was too big. That happens to me a fair bit with jackets and coats. Always too short in the arm and I end up getting a bigger size.

I have a Rab Alpine longer length and it's perfect, it's a nice fit and is stylish, I wear it with all sorts!

I’m talking and long bodied. I have a lot of trouble with tops being too short, but my Rab microlight down jacket it fine.

Mine is North Face and Mid Thigh. TK Maxx frequently have long length down coats. There was a lovely forest green one for £18 in clearance a fortnight back!

I think Wrong is looking for a short jacket that's an inch or two longer than the Uniqlo short jackets. Rather than a long one as some have suggested. Long, thigh length ones are easy to find, it's just the short ones that are just in so too short when you have a long torso.
