Fitbit Charge 3 or Fitbit Versa Smartwatch

Hi I am wanting to monitor and improve my fitness. The charge 3 is around £130 and the Versa smart watch is around £160 and has more functions. I have a lot of watches I like to wear and wondered if it would look odd to wear a smart watch on the other wrist? Also are they comfortable to wear in bed to monitor sleep ? Can anyone recommend either. - thanks

I got a charge 3 for Christmas and I love it.
What are you wanting to get out of it?

I use mine to track my sleep, steps and whatever when I've been to the gym

I got a versa for Christmas (the one with the fabric strap) to replace my Garmin vivofit which I couldn’t wear because I reacted to the strap. I love it, looks like a watch, comfortable (can wear it all the time without needing to take it off and swap wrists) and tracks everything I need it to.

I've had a Versa for 6 months, it's great, very comfortable to sleep in. You can change the straps if you want a different look.

Thanks Just - want it for same things as you - sleep, steps and gym and maybe swimming.
Cold - I had a jawbone bangle but they seem to have gone bust. Just wondered if it would look odd as I like to wear my own watches (sentimental reasons) would you wear your own watch and a Versa on the other wrist or doesn't it matter
Ark - yes want to monitor sleep - trying to get more sleep!

Is the Versa waterproof?

As the charge 3 is so I use it when I go swimming or to aqua fit as well which is handy.

I see a few people wearing a normal watch and then a Fitbit or Apple Watch as well on the other hand.

I was torn between both but ended up opting for the Fitbit Versa which I bought a leather strap for. I love it and don't regret this decision at all. Occasionally I put just the face in my pocket and it still records steps/activities.

(And yes, Versa is waterproof)

Just - yes they are both waterproof apparently. There is not much price difference think the Versa has more features. Good to know other people wear an Apple Watch/ Versa and a watch on the other wrist. Thanks !

I've just got the versa and love it. I can't wear the silicone bands though so have ordered a grey leather one with rose gold metal

Hi I am also looking at these two models. Currently have a fitbit Alta. My only issue is fitbits can look a bit tacky when worn with smarter clothes, for work etc.

How are you finding they look with various outfits? Have you found nice looking straps or are the ones they come with nice?

Yellow I have the rose gold with peachy pink strap and surprisingly it goes with quite a lot. I am over the clashing with outfits issue as I enjoy using the Fitbit. However if I was going somewhere grand I would probably use another watch. It is a fairly new model so it will take a while for a selection of straps to be available. Go for it and enjoy!!

Thanks @Londongirl888 I think I will get one as my current (very old) one has really helped me improve fitness and sleep more! Do you find the Versa very chunky on your wrist?

Yellow no I don't find it clunky maybe because the face is dark until you a notification. I love it

@YellowStickRoad @Londongirl888 I've got some really nice straps off eBay.. like, going out straps.
I've got a rose gold one and a silver one (pictures attached) these just make it look abit nicer so would do for work etc

Then I have my 'gym' straps that are waterproof incase I decide to go do some lengths as well x

I've seen somewhere that you can use contactless payments on the versa, but is that pretty much it?

I got a charge 3 for Christmas and love it, can't comment about the other one as I've never had one before

@JustBeenNosey I think the two models are very similar, the charge 3 has a longer battery life, 7 days vs 4 days, the Versa has a bigger screen and can pay with it. Mainly personal preference as to which one you like.

Yeah same as PP, it's the first one I've ever had with the charge 3 so can't comment on any others but I do really like it!
