Coarse wiry hairs sticking out from crown

Anyone else have this? My hair for the most part has average thickness strands which feel soft. However, I have these unkempt coarse strands that won’t stay down, always makes my hair look a mess

I’ve plucked a few of them out because I hate how they look..., hoping they don’t grow back

I grt these. I can never work out if they’re new hair growing or old hair that has snapped. I cba doing anything with them though- I think the only option would be to try and stick them down with a serum or something, and that would probably leave all the other hair looking greasy.

Yes, it is new hair growing. Try spraying a little leave-in conditioner on it.

I have them and sometimes they are like corkscrew curls!
My hair is very wavy... but these are something else!

Yes I get this! My hair is very thick anyway but these are so much thicker and don't seem to grow more than 2-3 inches so they just stick up. Sometimes I get fed up and pluck them 😂

I have these. Most of my hair blondish light brown, then the occasional full length black pubey hair. I pluck them out when I find them.
