Short leg jeans

I am 5ft0 and for the life of me cannot find jeans that fit properly.
Skinny jeans/jeggings tend to be fine as I can turn the bottoms up if they are too long but I would love a pair of boot cut or boyfriend ones that feel comfy and are the right length.

New Look used to do brilliant petite jeans with a leg length that was perfect but they stopped years ago and I've struggled since. Even worse since having a baby last year.

Size 16-18 with a leg length 27/28" depending on the cut. As cheap as possible with being on Maternity pay!

Also following as I am 5 foot and cannot find jeans anywhere! Like you said I don't have an issue with skinny jeans cause can turn up or wear boots but it's bootleg I struggle with. I went into next yesterday and they had some lovely ones but nothing in short!!

Hoppinggreen · 30/12/2018 20:18

Sainsburys

TweeBee · 30/12/2018 20:20

I have very short legs too and find M&S petite AND short - so short length from the petite section - ok. Also I’ve had some success from Marisota but they often have elasticated waists etc which I’m not so keen on.
I’d love some high waist bootcuts for my short legs!

Chewbecca · 30/12/2018 20:21

Oooh, you are the same size as me! I get on best with Wallis jeans. Also have some from Next & some from M&S but the Wallis are the most comfy.

Cocolepew · 30/12/2018 20:22

Bon Marche do a 27" and they are cheap

hugoagogo · 30/12/2018 20:24

Another vote for sainsburys.
A lot of places have made their short fitting way too long for a proper short person.

FredaFox · 30/12/2018 20:27

I always got mine at New look but they were online only (28in)but they've not had any for a good while.
I got some from river island but they don't fit me as well as the new look did.I'm size20/22 with a big bum and belly😟
Before the closed the store locally I've also had Simply be jeans.m&s are ok.

purplecorkheart · 30/12/2018 20:27

I was going to suggest m&s (online) as well but must confess I haven't looked at their range in a while.

SolidarityGdansk · 30/12/2018 20:32

GAP online always have offers.

Their girlfriend are easily turned up

Sarcelle · 30/12/2018 20:55

Following with interest. I am ok in summer with crops etc but longer jeans are a problem now. M & S short used to be spot on for me (5ft 1) but they are now longer. I would gladly pay decent money for decent jeans - I wear them a lot so I would spend the money if I could get the ideal pair.

dontcallmelen · 30/12/2018 21:38

Topshop or River Island are good for petite jeans, I’m 4ft10 & Topshop petite ankle grazer are perfect on me, also M&S jeggings in extra short are a good length, next are always too long & gap at the waist on me.

dontcallmelen · 30/12/2018 21:39

Topshop also doing a high waist flare jeans as well in petite.

mollibu · 30/12/2018 21:39

I'm the same height and size and I swear by Asda wonderfit jeans! £20 and the short leg ones! I've never looked back. Smile

Vitalogy · 30/12/2018 21:40

Next, doubt instore though, you'll have to order online.

Vitalogy · 30/12/2018 21:41

*they do petite

ThePortugueseTart · 30/12/2018 22:40

I’m also 5ft 0.
I buy most of my jeans from the Topshop petite range online:
Topshop Jamie jeans are a great skinny jean.
I also have the Jamie flare - I need to wear with a mid heel boot so they’re not trailing on the ground.
The Mom jeans (awful name!) also work well.
Gap petite online is also another good option.
I’ve had the odd pair from Boden petite and Next petite as well.

Youmadorwhat · 30/12/2018 22:42

Next,topshop and river island online

elfyears · 31/12/2018 14:00

Thanks all, plenty there to try out!

Some places I've swerved in the past because their sizes aren't too generous but willing to give them a try if I can get a day out shopping without DC in tow!

Think I'm gonna give a Bon March pair a try as they have 27" leg, 28 is most stores petite length and although they fit, they still do drag a bit along the floor.

River island Molly PEtite

tierraJ · 01/01/2019 10:38

I get Dorothy Perkins Darcy ankle grazer jeans. Petite jeans are just a bit too short but 'normal' length jeans are too long. It's frustrating.

CurcubitaPepo · 01/01/2019 12:07

I’m 4’ 11” and I recently found M&S do a limited range of xxs trousers / jeans which has worked for me.
