Hi

Anyone use this? Any particular brands you would recommend? I’ve been using alpha h 0.5 for a good few months now but I need something stronger and if I’m correct 1% retinol is the highest concentration you can get without prescription.

You need to search for ‘retirides’ and select the strength you want.

Can I ask: do I really need to wear sunscreen at this time of year, in Scotland?

I leave for work at 8am & get home at 6pm, in the dark - and don't see daylight during these times.

Apparently so. You must see some daylight?? Just to say to anyone following, ive used the A313 3 times now, first time tingling. 2nd none, 3rd time itching to the point i considered washing it off. I had left my face to dry properly before applying it. My skin seems somewhat drier now in that when i put foundation (very light, almost a tinted moisturiser) i can see dryness especially on my nose and forehead. If its so weak why does it itch?? The 0.5 retinol i used regularly didnt.

No, @hmmwhatatodo - it's dark here till 8.45am, then dark by 4pm. I work indoors in a hospital so no daylight. This is why us Scots need to take vitamin D!

The Ordinary range is absolutely amazing!
Put yourself together a skincare routine from their online guide. The AHA peel is as good as going into a beauty salon. Their prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality of their products.
