Running leggings

Where am I going wrong??

I have tried many brands including really £££ ones and they all slide / sag down my hips during my runs.

Admittedly post DC I'm a bit of an apple shape with a rounder stomach and slimmer hips / legs. But surely it's not beyond the wit of man?!

Which running leggings are recommended for staying put?

I use Nike and have never had this problem with them. A drawstring waist is your friend.

shalll · 29/12/2018 18:48

@Greenteandchives thank you

I'll look into Nike drawstring ones. I got new Nike ones for Christmas with an elastic waistband and unfortunately they did slide down. But drawstring sounds good.

I just use cheap £10 decathlon ones...they have a drawstring and never fall down.

hp2 · 29/12/2018 18:50

Sweaty Betty, they also have a drawstring/elastic but they don’t budge!

I got winter running leggings from H&M this year and have been impressed - drawstring and stay put.

Nike essential tights/capris again with a drawstring, also stay put.

poppyseed2 · 29/12/2018 19:03

Sweaty Betty solved this problem for me

SuperSange · 29/12/2018 20:12

Tikiboo leggings are amazing. Stay put whatever.

speak2me · 29/12/2018 20:15

You need some high waisted ones with a drawstring, try Sturdy By Design, Lucy Locket Loves or Tikiboo.

Cheapo sports direct Karrimor with drawstrings.

HyggeHeart · 29/12/2018 20:16

Decathlon again. Love them, have lasted well and never fall down.

AuntieStella · 29/12/2018 20:21

You might want to post in the 'Exercise' topic as well.

I agree with the Decathlon recommendation - any of theirs with drawstring could well work.

Ronhill for good, classic, with drawstrings

Or try Contra (the new Parkrun affiliated stuff) - meant to be good for non-whippets

Or compression tights by 2XU or UnderArmour - once you've squeezed yourself into them, they'll go nowhere

Brilliant, thank you! I have very high hopes for some Sweaty Betty ones which were my other Christmas present. They will be on trial tomorrow!

Can't believe I didn't consider the drawstring element.
