Loads of sleep and water. I've been sleeping badly and I look wrecked.

E20mom · 29/12/2018 16:06

With 2 days I'd focus on getting great hair and nails and an outfit you feel great in.

Pinkvici22 · 29/12/2018 16:15

Nails, light tan and loads of moisturiser, hair, drink tons of water and no carbs.

Imnotacelebgetmeouttahere · 29/12/2018 16:23

Moisturiser is good shout

Get an instant tan gel and put it on that morning.

Olivecake · 29/12/2018 16:29

Moisturiser and if you have a face oil use that. Cut back on sugar and alcohol for a couple of days, my skin always looks better when I’ve been eating healthy homemade food with minimal junk. Conditioning hair mask. But mostly feeling good, comfortable and smiling will make you look the best. Have a great time at the party!

Mammatron · 29/12/2018 23:59

Clarins face drops, you add a drop to moisturiser and it gives a very subtle glow- doesn't look like fake tan and pretty fool proof! Also eyelash and brow tint and threading. I look much more put together and less shattered with the above done!!

championquartz · 30/12/2018 00:39

Get a blowdry. Always sorts me out.

Hannnnnnnxo · 30/12/2018 01:40

Sorry to say but you’ll look virtually the same as you do now in 48 hoursGrin

For weight loss, eat very clean. No snacks/treats/junk. Literally focus on salads/soups/fruit etc and ditch alcohol/carbs. Eat at a calorie deficit. You won’t actually lose masses of weight, but you’ll notice that your stomach should look more flat and less bloated. M&S have really good salads and vegetarian options, you could just buy loads of those for the two days.

Glowing skin - new skincare/face masks. Dewy makeup setting spray. Highlighter

Conseulabananahammock · 30/12/2018 13:56

Overnight face mask!! I use a dr botanicals one. Wake up literally glowing

cookiesaurus · 30/12/2018 14:03

Go and get LVL for great, natural looking lashes!

Sitranced · 30/12/2018 14:12

Go for a run it'll bring some fresh colour to your cheeks.

JaneJeffer · 31/12/2018 09:36

Do you look amazing now?
I want to know what worked! Grin

Imnotacelebgetmeouttahere · 31/12/2018 10:31

Grin drop dead gorgeous.

Well if I'm honest im pretty happy... I'll start with a disclaimer..I'm a generous size 18, bad skin and wild hair.

My skin is looking much clearer and fresher other than a couple of spots that were already there and showed no chance of moving.

My tummy whilst not flat is certainly better than it has been

My nails have been done and are sparkly and gorgeous ( hopefully less sausage like)

Hair app is booked for 3pm

If you think you can handle it ill post a photo at 7pm when I'm trussed up and you can judge if I'm passable. I'll already be at the venue by then so too late to back out Grin

JurassicGirl · 31/12/2018 21:28

Hope you have a great time!

I was once told that if you bump into someone when you're not at your best just be smily & cheerful & they won't notice. Not sure how true that is but I've used it a few times!

Wish I'd heard it when a few years ago I ran into Tescos to grab some bread for lunch, was wearing my old cargo trousers with paint spatters, unwashed hair tied up, no make up or jewellery (including no wedding ring) & bumped into my old best friend (no longer a close friend as way too judgmental!) I later heard a rumour that I was going through a hard time with DH & stuggling with depression!!

Have been cheerful & smily since then just in case!

It did make me laugh at the time as we were decorating for the arrival of new baby (wasn't noticably pregnant) lol
