I got this striped dress from Oasis that I had been eyeing up at full price, some black ankle boots from new look and four half price jumpers from Zara - very pleased

I have gone rather mad a d bought 6 dresses!

Got a lovely single button green coat for £25
A river island dress for nyeve £19

Not much else that I really want or need that's on sale at the moment.

Restraining myself as already got a few things from the November sales!

Nothing for myself as I need to make myself wear the clothes I already have but for DD (10):

• Dressing gown half price in Primark at £7.- she’s tall so likes the ladies XS size so it feels comfy and baggy on her and kids ones don’t seem to have that extra tie on the inside.

• School shoes were required again so we had a quick look in the Doc Marten shop and found a pair of ladies size 3 shoes with furry insoles and normal ones in the box down from £95 to £45. Well her last ones from Clarks’ were £44 so we snapped the docs up quickly! If they last her size wise until high school they seem plain enough to be acceptable there.

@TheCbeebiesYellowBlobs is Boden worth the price? Just bought a cashmere jumper for 70 because I like the colour and have never had cashmere before. Price seems steep even though sale but I love it!

I'm on the hunt for an interview dress if anybody has come across anything suitable

I went a bit mad on asos. It's coming on Monday.

I spent a fortune, but in my defence I haven't bought anything for AGES and my parents gave me a very generous Christmas cheque.....

So I bought a leather jacket, two jumpers and a pair of jeans in Mint Velvet, 3 pairs of cheapy jeans in M&S to dog walk in as my only 2 pairs are literally falling apart, a pair of very expensive Italian jeans reduced from £300 to £150 (I wasn't going to buy them but DD said 'Wow, you look amazing' when I walked out of the changing room and as I HATE buying jeans, I thought I'd just buy them), and then an absolutely gorgeous navy shearling jacket, reduced from over £1000 to £495 in a local designer shop. I have wanted one for YEARS and never had the money, so I bought it without agonising over it, and I absolutely love it. So a four figure sum, but I won't be buying clothes for myself for a VERY long time to come and I am going to work on a cost per wear basis on the shearling jacket - and if I wear it every other day of the winter, every year for the next 20 years, then it will have been cheap .

Also going to wait until end of Sales for final shop as 2 years ago got Phase eight coat in John Lewis sale that I still love.

I got 4 x plain shift dresses from H&M for a tenner each in different colours. Not very exciting, but they’ll be good for work.

My main sales shopping was online and for lovely smelling stuff. Treated myself to some perfume, fancy Prada soaps and a nice candle.

No more spending until Sprong now!

Spring!

I was short of a simple, fitted navy top and ended up with 2 in the sales, one from Hobbs and one from Reiss. I also got lots of pretty costume jewellery, mostly from M&S and Phase Eight. I am trying to dress simply but, hopefully, stylishly and a nice necklace seems to enhance the look a little.

I've focused on jumpers as my wardrobe is otherwise fine. I've ordered from White Company and Seasalt.

@Eesha kids stuff is good quality but I'd never buy it full price, there's always at least 20% off vouchers floating around

Think you did well with 70 for Boden cashmere. It's better quality than M&S and Next imo so should last ages.

Before Christmas I got a Hobbs dress for 39, down from 140 pounds.
I'm now looking for a long dress for going out. Not an evening dress, just something not quite a day dress or a work dress. Any suggestions?

Debating these two purchases. I fancy a grey coat, I’ve seen one in M and S but tbh this has a higher wool content and most of the stuff I’ve bought from Pure has been pretty good in the past. Thoughts?

50% off a Whistles jumper though it’s a bit glittery for me so probably won’t keep.
