Reactivating natural curls?

I have a mass of curls and want something to 'reactivate', as it were, for second day hair? Currently, I'm having to wash every day to prevent frizzy, slightly flattened (mainly on top) hair and tbh I don't think my hair is particularly grateful for that!

Cantu curl activation cream, pair it with cantu curl custard if you want to elongate the curls and provide a bit of hold.

I wet, rather than wash, my hair everyday. Much more gentle on my hair and keeps the curls/waves popping.

I'd recommend the "curly girl UK" Facebook group for advice, and the Curly Girl Handbook by Lorraine Massey.

dampen hair and wrap a towel round it while you put on your make up then scrunch into curls.

reactivator but sold out atm
it's bloody brilliant
I want to get the balm as well but it's sold out too.

Just wet/damp your hair. My curly hair always looks better on the second day.

I use a spritz bottle of water and spray my daughter hair daily and apply a product from either cantu or mixed chicks. We only wash it once a week and do an oil treatment every few weeks to help with damage /frizz. You can also buy silk bonnets to sleep in to prevent frizz over night.

Have a look at the curly girl method. There are loads of instagrammers sharing their routines, have a look at @marisascurls and @curly.days. Marisa has her curl refresh routine up in her story highlights. Basically, wet your hands and get some conditioner in there and do praying hands down the length of your hair then gently scrunch it back up towards your head. Do the same all around your hair then repeat with gel and water instead of conditioner, depending on how producty you like your hair to be.
