Brown eye liner?

Can anyone recommend a brown eyeliner that doesn't have any warm or red tones in it? I am pale skinned and fair haired and prefer using brown liner to black, but often find it is too red which is not a good look. Any recommendations? Many thanks!

No 7 one in a felt tip pen is a good greyish brown. It doesn't give that sharp a line, though (which I prefer but know some wouldn't like)z

I always go back to this one as it's not too red. Just a nice brown that stays put. It's about £4 so I think it's a bit of a bargain.

Avon cosmic brown is good.

The rimmel twist up one is good and smudges in really well. I prefer brown eyeliner too.

No 7 long wear pencil is a cool brown
Korres also have a cool brown eye pencil I wear daily

Another fan of Avon Cosmic brown here. I've been using it for years.

I'm blonde and pale and I use grey or burgundy quite often. Worth a try if you want something less harsh than black and a change from brown.

Teddy by Mac. A very chocolate brown which smudges and stays put.

Laura Mercier do a nice brown one.

Slightly off piste idea, but I use a slightly wet Mac eyeliner brush and the eye shadow colour of my choice. It works so well and, assuming you have a good eyeshadow selection, is really versatile.

Clinique Chocolate Lustre is a lovely shimmery brown

Clinique Quickliner in Smoky Brown is my go-to.

Grey eyeliner changed my life. Well, my look anyway. Rimmel is the best for me.

Another vote for MAC Teddy. I wouldn't be without it.

Estée Lauder double wear liner in coffee. I have it in pencil & gel and very pleased with both.

On another tack, there is a Makeup Forever pencil in S50 that's a cool taupe. I find it very flattering for daytime.

Do you have an eye shadow which is the colour you like? I invested in a good eyeliner brush and now use dark eyeshadow rather than eyeliner
