What colour/style heels with a navy sequin maxi?

I'm in a right muddle trying to decide what colour and style heels to go for. It's for NYE, so a full length navy sequinned 'gown'!

• I have some glam black beaded earrings which I would like to wear.
• I have a black beaded evening bag and a gold beaded evening bag.

The problem is, I don't have any suitable black heels! I've been trying to find ones with a beaded or sequinned decoration but not really seen any I love.

I do have some gold strappy heels but they have clear diamanté on which I don't think go with the sequins.

Maximum budget £50, cheaper even better. Desperately seeking some inspiration!

I'd go for silver or gold as a contrast. What jewellery are you wearing with your outfit.

Beaded earrings, bag, and dress.... I really think you need plain shoes for a bit of balance otherwise it might all be rather too much... plain gold or silver depending on what jewellery you wear.

Gorgeous dress. They will hardly be noticed. Just get something from New Look that's comfy.

We do a lot of formal stuff. I often do JL Rainbow Club. They are comfy and good value. But you need time for the dyeing.

I am an absolute magpie and am a sucker for sequins and diamanté and anything glittery!

Thank you for the compliments on the dress. It was a TK Maxx bargain. It has a sort of cowl back so I am going to have an up-do and wear these earrings, which actually aren't all that big.

The idea was to wear black shoes to go with the earrings and bag but I just can't find anything.

Do you think peep toe, strappy, or closed toe/pointy court?

I think you can do patent (wet look) ballerinas and be comfy. Accessorise have nice evening bags usually.

Bronze satin shoes? Something to contrast with the navy definitely.
