Hair Straightener recommendation

I am receiving money for Christmas to buy new HS, as mine are cheap ones and years old. I am looking at either GHD's or Cloud Nine.

I have a chin lenght bob, quite fine hair. In the past I have found straighteners that don't seem to close enough, or grip my hair - does this make sense?!

Can anyone please recommend a pair that would be best for fine, short ish hair? Budget up to £150 but happy to spend less!

Thanks.

I am 31 and have had the same straighteners since I was 18, ghds and they still work perfectly just like the day I got them. Your hair sounds very similar to mine, but over the years I've had a pixi cut, it really long to my elbows and all sort of lengths between, they have faired me well DH asks every year if I need new ones answer is always no thanks lol

I used to be a ghd devotee, but they are not as good anymore. Cloud nine are much better imo

The cloud nine founder is the same man as started (and sold) ghd

I've always had GHD's. Recently got the new ones and gave them to my Mum as I didn't like them.

Got myself some Cloud 9's and much prefer them.

I've always had GHDs, had the same pair for about 5 years! Although I think next time I might try cloud 9, everyone who has them seems to really like them

Cloud 9. Just get cloud 9. My GHDs died after ten years’ service last month. I got the cloud 9s. Love them.

Cloud 9 touch straightener.

I've had cloud 9 and GHD and I'm sticking with cloud 9. Had several pairs of GHD (none broke, just upgraded) but cloud 9 is just... better IMO. Plates smoother. Nicer to hold.
