Kinked lob

Does anyone have any suggestions how to kink my hair? Not curled - it doesn’t look it anyway - but just kind of kinked the whole way round?

I’m really poor at styling my hair but would love to discover an easy way of achieving this!

I twist it and fix it with Kirby grips after blow drying till almost dry (head upside down type blow dry!)

Leave for a while then unravel. You have to experiment for your own hair though, times and how. 30 mins to an hour usually works then a bit of hair spray that freezes it. So I used to do it before make up and getting dressed, then sometimes leave it in during drive to work. If I leave it too long it goes too frizzy.

I start a twist near the fringe on both sides and incorporate more as I take it round the back; I do it so actually you could go out looking ok if you leave it in. Twisted grips also help. Mines shoulder length, quite fine but lots of it.

I sometimes twist it in a knot on top of my head but that only really works if it's creeping past shoulder length.

I hate 'styling' my hair. This is a quick messy version. Never managed the same look with heated things.

YouTube videos seem to use a wand. I have an automatic curler and just curl mine but get tempted by s wand quite frequently!

Curl with straighteners loosely then tap the straighteners down the hair to make it kinky instead

Twist plaits round your head (2 strand plaites) when damp then sleep on it. I do about 12 on my hair. Works really well!

Thanks all....think I just need to really practice ... with 2 little ones that isn’t easy!

Dampen your hair. Grab your hair into a ponytail, twist the tail round to form a bun. Put a scrunchie or ponytail round the bun and let it dry, then remove the scrunchie.

i meant ponytail band in that last sentence.
