Will I look like a Land of Leather sofa.

In a gin infused fit of madness last night I ordered these leather cropped trousers www.marksandspencer.com/leather-straight-leg-trousers/p/p60180256.

I’m 5’8” size 20 but pretty much in proportion if that makes sense. I guess most weight in stomach area.

As title suggest will I look like comfy armchair in them or like I’ve been handy with a pair of scissors and a black bin bag?

I have a two pairs of ordinary cropped wide leg trousers which I think I look ok in.

But what would you suggest I wear with these on top and footwear wise. I have silk blouses but if I tuck them in I think it will emphasis my stomach. Want some ideas for smart casual, work and going out?

Also forgot to mention i’m In my early 50’s but trying to embrace the age is just a number approach to fashion but don’t want to look like I am trying to hard either.

Are you up to this style challenge ladies?

I can't say I like them op, even the model is struggling to make them look flattering, but try them on, you never know.

I love them. I have a very similar pair of trousers from missguided.

I think they're gorgeous

Most of the time i do dress as I want (although probably a bit more conservative than those stylish ladies Onestep) and have given up on the idea of i’ll Wait until I’m thinner. But don’t want to make an expensive mistake.

I think the main issue will be whether the bunch up over your stomach if that's where you carry a lot of your weight. The leather looks as if it might be a bit stiff although that could just be the photography. But try and see.

If they're not right and you're in proportion how about a leather pencil skirt?

It depends on how they fit. You'll have to try them on and see. They don't look great from the back on the model.

I like them! But I wouldn't take the labels off and stalk them in the sale.
