Plus size capsule wardrobe work wear help

Hi guys
I’m starting a new job in the new year in a smart casual office. I want a capsule wardrobe to make things easy. I want to look put together. I am a size 26 usually (although I’m working on it). Any suggestions of were to get started? Tips? Or any pieces some of you plus sized glass know are good quality?

Hi there. Look at navabi, Anna scholz and simply be. Navabi is particularly good for well made work stuff that lasts. Google discount codes as lots will give you a hefty discount for a first order.

I find I look smarter in dresses than separates, so tend to wear them when I'm in the office. If something fits and looks nice I will tend to buy a couple.

Accessories, light make up and good hair and nails also help if you want to look groomed.

Sorry - just reread and saw you said smart casual and not just smart. Navabi have some quality jeans if you can get away with jeans and a jacket.

Navy is always smart.

Good quality jacket and lots of mix n match.

Accessories are lovely with scarves and jewellery complementing your look.

I wear smart black or navy trousers, kitten heel shoes, silky blouses and thin long cardi on top if cool. I actually rate Bon Marche (deeply unfashionable I know!) for their trousers. Smart, comfy, bargain price and 4 leg lengths!
