Jewellery ideas for a 21st birthday present

I need a 21st birthday present for my goddaughter. I'm not sure of her taste as I don't see her very often as she lives at the other end of the country. I would like to get her a necklace but I'm not sure what 21 year olds would wear these days. My budget is £80-100. Do any of you clever mumsnetters have any ideas?

Obviously it’s all very personal but most young adults I know seem to love Pandora. They have the added advantage of being great about exchanges so if you send a gift receipt she can always change it of she already has it or it’s not quite right.

a little more expensive - around £120 i think - but maybe a tiffany necklace? my sister bought me one for my 21st and i still wear it almost every day over 6 years later.

Always a little hard to say without knowing her personal tastes but for that age I’d check out Alex Monroe, Missoma and Mejuri.

Classic jewelers and Tiffany’s as mentioned are also good shouts.

Yes to Tiffany's and a BIG NO to Pandora! I'm early 30s but trust me, Pandora is not cool, it's best to avoid.

Les Nereides has some interesting jewellery, depending on her style. I have a necklace from there that gets complimented a lot. What about this www.lesnereides.com/uk/necklaces/530-peter-pan-and-his-shadow-reflecting-on-big-ben-long-necklace.html they do have whackier ones too, best avoid...
