Hair styler/brush for brittle hair?

Hi all,

MIL like to use one of those heated brush styler things to dry her hair, but has recently been complaining that her hair is becoming increasingly dry and brittle so it is breaking when she dries it.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a drying brush thing that would be gentler on her hair?

I don't think I can convince her to use anything other than a round heated brush type thing, but any products that might help would be great too!

I use a Babyliss hot brush styler, not the rotating one. It’s around £24 in Argos.
I then comb a small drop of Aragon or coconut oil through my hair and only dry it when it’s just damp.

I use the Babybliss paddle brush it also has a round brush attachment which I've never used. I prefer it to the Big Hair
