OMG I’m in agony. I bought a pair in nyc last year as my feet were killing me so much, size 6.5 UK it says and I’m a 5. It was a mistake I couldn’t wear them but thought it was due to the flight. Ive just put them on for the first time since and I’ve had to sit down it’s lije something is strangling my ankles and I have thing ankles they are the best part of my leg! I’m so disappointed they are the short ones and they are so painful should I give them to someone for Xmas?

You might have a pair with an incorrect label. Mine are fine and are my normal size. 6.5 US might be the mistake!

cakeisnotaproperbreakfast · 17/12/2018 19:58

I have 1 pair that are smaller (despite all being the same size).
They are the Noira design (waterproof, cold weather style). The others (I have classic & also ones that zip up) are sized normally IME.

I have six pairs of Uggs and I always get a size bigger than my usual size

EachandEveryone · 17/12/2018 21:13

These are the short ones with a low platform heel. They seem very slim and quite hard at the ankle joint. Its almost painful as soon as i start putting my foot in.

Right well there is something wrong then.. they shouldn't hurt putting your foot in! Are they well worn?

AcrossthePond55 · 17/12/2018 21:33

I don't know about the length being true to size, but IMO they are very narrow. I have a bit of a 'duck foot' (narrow heel, wide toes) and have never been able to find a pair of Uggs that fit me comfortably.

RockingAroundTheChristmasTree1 · 17/12/2018 21:34

As in does it look like you have worn them loads or do they look quite new still?

MrsMariaPolouvicka · 17/12/2018 22:22

UK5 should be a US7 and would say UK5.5 on the label of Ugg Australia uggs. Are you sure the 6.5 isn't the US sizing in which case they are too small?

Bigonesmallone3 · 17/12/2018 22:26

Mine all fit true to size..

HundredMilesAnHour · 17/12/2018 23:01

I'm confused. Did you not try them on when you bought them?

I feel Uggs fit to size, maybe even slighly big. Sounds like you've bought a US 6.5 rather than a UK 6.5. If you're size 5, a Uggs in UK 6.5 would be massive on you.

EachandEveryone · 17/12/2018 23:41

I did try them on. I was in nyc and it was busy sale time my feet were killing me anyway. I since discovered my thyroid was out of whack which is why. I thought they fitted ok not like slippers and inbought them. I thought they would give. Ill put a picture up tomorrow. They are like new still. A year old worn three times.

Have you still got the box? If they have sized them wrong on the box, go into a ugg store and take them back..it's their mistake if they are sized wrong..I always go a size bigger, because all the wool in them is so thick inside, my partner had ugg slippers for Christmas two years ago the same size as his fee are and complained about them being tight, so last year got him a size bigger which were a perfect fit

EachandEveryone · 18/12/2018 12:10

No box it’s in nyc. Ive measured them against my trainers and the length is the same but they are no way the same inside they can’t be a 6 1/2 my trainers are a 5 1/2

Take a photo of the label inside the boot.

EachandEveryone · 18/12/2018 13:58

I feel really sad as I was looking forward to wearing them this Winter

I got half a size bigger than my feet. They were a struggle to put on for a while but they have stretched and now they are the comfiest boots that I wear. Maybe persevere for a while or wear them around the house to break them in?

geologyrocks · 18/12/2018 18:13

I remember when I got mine the pain around the ankle. They did stretch tho an ed fit like a glove

MrsMariaPolouvicka · 18/12/2018 18:32

hmmm. Are they the Kristin? A quick google of reviews seems most people find them true to size..

If they are fully sheepskin lined, then they are supposed to be snug as the sheepskin will flatten after a few wears. Not so snug that your toes touch the end of the boot or force them to scrunch up when you walk.

Also, again if they are fully lined, you are supposed to wear them with bare feet. I never wear socks with my uggs, (even in sub zero snowy Prague and Berlin) and never get cold feet. If you can't manage that, try really thin tights or pop sicks instead of socks.

Basically, if you bought them in states you're buggered with returning them, so persevere or get them on eBay but make sure you have some authentication otherwise you may get buyers trying to claim they are fakes.

CosyToast · 18/12/2018 18:36

I have ugg slippers (the ones that are more like moccasins than clogs) which I bought in my usual size and find they are quite narrow 😕 not unwearable, but taking more time to break in than I expected

European12345 · 18/12/2018 18:40

Im 5.5 in uk. Have 2 pairs one from uk and one in nyc and they’re both 6.5 size as I knew they come 1 size small. I have never had any problems with them

Bought a pair in the uk in the last Black Friday and they don’t sell 6.5 so I went for 6 and they feel the same as the other two.

EachandEveryone · 18/12/2018 18:40

It’s the actual ankle part it’s so narrow I can hardly get them on. They definitely aren’t a wide fit.

European12345 · 18/12/2018 18:41

Btw they’re not this model tho but normal ones.

ThePortugueseTart · 18/12/2018 18:42

I think they are the Ugg Kristin. I have them. I am a UK4 but bought these in the UK5. I believe this design does come up smaller. They are also a slimmer design than the classic Ugg style.
