Office Christmas party outfit - HELP!

Hi all, I am desperately scrambling to put together a last minute outfit for my office Christmas party, which is on Tuesday night. I have been postponing this for way too long and now it is too late to buy anything new. Eurgh!

The theme is: sparkles. It is a seated dinner with 400 people. Most women will wear cocktail dresses type of outfits.

This is what I have thrown together with stuff I have at home. I am not convinced about the top, although I am not sure what else would work better? Any suggestions? Should I add a jacket? Any suggestions about makeup?

Please help!!

PS: I will wear stockings with the outfit.

Looks fab. Maybe go OTT with a bold blingy necklace, or even chunky tinsel?

Looks good to me but when you are sitting down it will look quite plain.

The top and skirt look fab! If you want to dress it up more I'd either swap the blouse for a backless top or maybe go for a more daring shoe. Do not wear tinsel in any way, shape or form

I have a pair of long black earrings that could do with the outfit. I don't have a chunky necklace though! Must go shopping today during lunch break

I'd steer clear of any more black, try and go for silver if you can. necklace doesn't have to be chunky, I think a sparkly choker would look lovely

Don’t do black earrings. I think if it’s sparkly dress code, then go for sparkly diamond style earrings and necklace. (Assuming you don’t own the real thing!) A pendant would look good. Heels can be what you like! No one is really looking at them.

I like standard make up you know will work for you. Do what you are used to and will look good all evening.

You might be a bit chilly so add a wrap. I assume you will travel in a coat!
