A new foundation

I posted in a different topic but was advised to post here instead as people know their stuff so I'm hoping you can help!

I'm looking for a new foundation, not overly priced though incase I don't like it or whatever.

I used to use Estée Lauder a few years ago and I don't know why, probably wanted a change, but I stopped using it.

The last two I bought were NYX and was the total control which I bought when I was quite dark and tanned and then one of them things that you can mix with it to make a lighter colour.
I also bought the NYX can't stop won't stop which has all of a sudden stopped going on nice.

In the last 2 months I've changed my skincare routine to use a Lush toner every morning and night and then a face mask every other day so I don't know if that has something to do with it.

Just looking for help and any tips people have.

Also how to get/do nice eyebrows would be much appreciated as well 😀

Thank you!

I've been reading the above threads in search of foundation inspiration myself. Hope you find these links helpful.

Revolution Conceal & Define is very good, Bourjois Healthy Mix, Maybelline Superstay. All are reasonably priced.

JustBeenNosey · 16/12/2018 08:28

@sammy891 I've seen a few people mention the bourjois healthy mix.

I've got quite oily skin so need to find something to help with this x

@JustBeenNosey the Healthy Mix is raved about a lot online but didn't work for me either because I have very oily skin. The Revolution and Maybelline ones are great though for oily skins x

JustBeenNosey · 16/12/2018 12:12

@sammy891 ahhhh okay! I'll give that a miss then.

I might try my Estée Lauder out again and see how that is. If not I'll try the ones you mentioned

Yeah you can't beat Estée Lauder Double Wear for oily skins. It's my most favourite for finish and long lasting on oily skins.

JustBeenNosey · 16/12/2018 15:01

I used to use it and still have some left so might have to resort back to that one again

I've tried everything and eventually asked a girl in a pub what foundation she was using cause it looked flawless/ fabulous Blush

It was this one by Milani and it's now my firm favourite. The 01 shade is a bit dark for me so I mix it with Maxfactor colour adapt in Ivory.

Ohhhh thank you! I always find after a few hours I just look oily again on my forehead 😩😩

I'll have a look at this
