Size 6 help?

Hello all, I don’t often venture into the S&B zone- I’m more of a comfy and slouchy person! But I know that you women know your stuff, and am asking for help.
I need to find some dressing gowns/lounge robes (whatever they are called these days!) God, I feel so ancient. They are Christmas gifts for 4 stepdaughters- adults, stylish, ultra slim (sizes 6 and 8)

Not slinky satin, more warm and cosy, but short is preferred apparently (which makes no sense to me, but hey they aren’t for me) Zip up is a yes, as are hoods, pom-poms are acceptable...
Help! I’m out of my depth- (I’m currently wearing my XXL 15 year old Primark comfort dressing gown.)

Could any of you point me in the right direction please?

I’ve looked at Topshop, Debenhams, FatFace, M&Co. Most don’t go as small as a 6 or an 8. Do you know anywhere that stocks these smaller sizes?
Online retailers preferred as we live rurally with few decent shops nearby.

Thanks in advance.

Primark def do both sizes have have shorty dressing gowns. Topshop also do both sizes - if not I store them online. New look have some too as do Matalan! Can you tell what is on my dd's list Grin
Hope you find something!

Ifartrainbowsandglitter · 15/12/2018 10:15

Have you tried Hollister or jack wills? Or are they old hat nowadays, not quite sure!

Victoria's Secret could be worth a look

I personally loathe Primary but teen dd likes it and I’m sure you wouid find something in there if you are brave enough to venture in

Have a look on Boux Avenue or Next, they both do small sizes

KatieMoragsMum · 15/12/2018 10:29

Thanks for your suggestions.

I don’t think I made my post clear enough- the “girls” are adults, but ultra slim Women’s size 6 and 8. Sorry, desperate ramblings!

Primark I mean!!

caterpuller · 15/12/2018 10:43

Try Hush - size 6 or XS. Or Boux Avenue, they have good loungewear/nightwear.

rainbowlou · 15/12/2018 10:43

I have a short, fleecy one with a good from Dorothy Perkins x

BlancheM · 15/12/2018 10:45

Most come in S, M, L, I'd go for a medium. I'm size 8 and always go for one a few sizes up.
I got one from M&S when pregnant which is a 16 but perfect to wear now when zipped up and the drawstrings tied. I like to wear mine over clothes when I get home or when applying makeup so it needs to be roomy.
Sorry I know that's no help!

rainbowlou · 15/12/2018 10:50

A hood!

Strongbeatsskinny · 15/12/2018 10:55

I brought a size 6 for myself in M&S last year they probably sold out now in small sizes.

Notquiteagandt · 15/12/2018 10:59

I a size 6 (well when not pregnant!) And I have never had a problem getting a dressing gown. As they are not meant to be super fitted anyways. Just pull it in tighter. More the arm length thats and issue.

I have bought in past from oysho, zara home, m&s, and randomly dunelm (they have so much teddy bear fur stuff that is so snuggly and soft!).

Most places size things small medium large etc for nightwear rather that size 6 etc. So I usually find an extra small about a size 8 so works well.

Thanks for all your suggestions. We went for Hollister snuggly jacket things in the end. I think they will go down well with the recipients. Have a stylish and beautiful Christmas!
