Tom Ford black orchid perfume

How would you describe it? I already have white patchouli which I love, but fancy trying black orchid as it sounds like the kind of fragrance I like. I like warm spicy ones- think clinique aromatics, Liz Earle botanical essence no 15, Angel. And does it last? I really need one that lasts.

Thanks for the explanation twisted The idea of linear fragrance appeals to me actually, as very often I prefer the initial scent to the dry down and don't like it to change too much iyswim so it might be that this one will work for me.

Thechristmasbear that description actually sounds quite nice to me in a strange kind of way!

I love TFBO, but it just doesn't seem to last on me at all :(

It’s lovely but it’s like Christmas. Nice for a bit but you get sick of it.

Tom Ford has stated that he intended Black Orchid to smell like a man's crotch. It was also Michael Jackson's favourite fragrance.

Make of that what you will, but it kinda put me off.

It is long-lasting though (based on one squirt on a wrist).

Omg. Really?

Afraid so - according to Google, anyway.

Haven't read the full thread yet but I usd to wear Black Orchid and it is a loud sexy perfume. It smells of warm knickers and arousal and can fill a room! I loved it for a while but it got very ubiquitous and headachy
