I look like Santa 🎅🏾

I have white fuzz at the sides of my face, what should I do about this new side beard?

Waxing will be quickest, easiest and pretty painless

thighofrelief · 14/12/2018 19:26

What should I ask for when booking? It's not chin and upper lip just side face, never seen that on a waxing menu.

I use a Tinkle razor every few weeks and shave it myself. It's so easy! It doesn't grow back thicker or darker (common myth).

Pinkyyy · 14/12/2018 19:44

They usually do what's called 'half face' waxing, that will be the bit you're concerned about and also the upper lip and chin

daisychicken · 14/12/2018 20:05

Stealingyourwifi what is the difference between a tinkle razor and a normal razor? Genuine question as I keep hearing it being recommended.

CurbsideProphet · 14/12/2018 20:36

I get mine threaded every 3 weeks or so.

Cheerbear23 · 14/12/2018 21:10

I’ve seen ‘sides’ offered as waxing, you could also buy an epistick to keep on top of it afterwards. They are just a couple of quid and a twisty coil toy thing that pulls out the hairs!

If you have a bit more money to spend upfront I'd definitely recommend laser for fantastic long term results. It's pretty painless tbh, but you'd get results almost immediately.

thighofrelief · 14/12/2018 22:24

Lemon i thought you couldn't laser white hair?

I use a tweezerman coil thing on my chin hair and peach fuzz moustache. I now run it all over my face as my makeup looks better totally smooth. I do it while watching tv once a week. I’m a dab hand with it now 😂

@thighofrelief I'm sorry I didn't take in about the white hair... Might be worth contacting a few clinics though as my hair lady has newer machines and says they have come on leaps and bounds in terms of managing different skin tones and so on..
