Hi there, blonde with blue eyes, staff party next week. Wearing navy...would love an eye shadow that would make my blue eyes pop..I know oranges can be good..but there is all sorts of shades..but if there were any experts, what colour/brand would you recommend.

Damn and blast! Why didn't I see those heavenly earrings yesterday before I told DH what I wanted for Christmas (and he ordered it before he forgot).

Bobbi Brown shadow stick in Golden Bronze. It is the Holy Grail and will make your eyes match those earrings.

Thank you everyone. Konplott do the most amazing earrings.

These ones, people actually stare at on the street..my absolute favourites...they are major eye catchers...the photo doesn't do them justice, they are blue...the 3 drop is the length that suits me...

I agree with lamentations. I have that Bobbi Brown eyeshadow stick and it's amazing. Stays on all night and really suits my blue eyes. Might be a better choice for those nights you don't want full on glitter. Kiko do a very good dupe of this too. I have both.

Another sheep here: just been to Superdrug and bought three pots of the bronze Barry M stuff.
One for me, and one each for two blue-eyed relatives as a little extra present ( had already got them an Hourglass mascara each, on the back of another thread).
There will be eye-popping aplenty at the Christmas dinner table.
The Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash mascara, by the way, is a HG product (got one for myself, too).

I don’t like too much glitter but this Dior palette is amazing at making my eyes pop, long lasting too.

Hmmm. Don't want to disappoint people but my pot of Barry M glitter came this morning and I don't think I love it. I think it's a bit too orange and the PP who said orange tones makes your eyes look as if you've got an infection was ringing in my ears. My favourite is still my Bobbi Brown eyeshadow stick (or Kiko dupe) I'll try the glitter pot again when I'm properly made up and see what I think.

what's with the 'pop'? Gawd, I hate that expression. who wants 'poppy' eyes!

Charlieandlola · 15/12/2018 20:37

Stila “kitten “ is an oldie but goodie for me . My eyes are grey/blue

bitofabelly · 16/12/2018 08:17

No tonight I bought the Barry M and love it. It doesn't look as orange on me as on you. Weird. It's definitely the right one. I had an orange eye shadow...on eye lid, then applied the Barry M and layered...and used a Kiko, Cranberry looking cream shadow for the crease and a
Little dark brown for the corner. I thinks it's also lovely dabbed on hind tear duct. Right bearing in mind how I described probably makes me sound horrendous lookjng
..it was fab!!!!
