Nipple Piercings

Does anyone have their nipples pierced? One of mine has always been this way, it's been about a year since they got pierced but on the end of my nipple it's a bit white around the barbell and a bit itchy? No discharge and I'm pretty sure it's not infected but wondered if any piercers or people with the piercing know what it is?

Mine were both like that for the few years I had them-white around the bar and itchy sometimes. I took them out eventually as they kept catching on my bra

I get this too, my piercers when asked said it's normal to have crusts develop long-term.
