Under eye brightener/concealer for dry and flaky eyes

Help! I want to order something tonight but I'm confused. There's a NARS one that gets amazing reviews but a couple I saw mentioned that it gets cakey which is what I need to avoid. Confused

I used to use rimmel wake me up concealer but it's just looking awful nowadays. I'm treating the dryness too with a couple of brilliant products but it will take time.

Any ideas? I have fair skin if that makes any difference.

Help!

Do you have dark circles too? If so use lemon aid by benefit first. Then your foundation. I have dry skin so I then use touché eclat and erase paste on the edge of the socket. (Kind of hard to describe this but some good YouTube tutorials around)

Following ! Whenever I use under EE concealer it looks so flakey , caked and obvious

Yes I have dark under eyes. I also have quite droopy eyelids. I actually like my eyes, it's the area around them let's me down!

I have a benefit one which is a stick with a ‘balm’ core. Very moisturising!

@cavycavy Oh that looks promising, and not as expensive as another one I was tempted by but can't really afford so thank you. Checking reviews now.

I have had the same problem and just started using Benefit's Boing Hydrating Concealer and not getting any dry bits, which was suddenly happening with Touche Eclat which I'd used for years. It comes in several shades, I really recommend it: https://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod10701110001130901024099?brand=Benefit&cat1=Beauty&cat2=Make-up&cat3=Concealer&CMP=SSHH23613632321587703901159119284239&&CMP=SSH23613632322158770390159119284239&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIgoXv5OWd3wIVhbHtCh0bew9mEAQYBCABEgLdCvDD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

How do you apply your concealer?

for dark circles, I use the becca corrector underneath my concealer. It's really good. The concealer is kevyn aucoin sensual, and is very heavy duty so I mix it with a tiny bit of moisturizer (I strongly recommend it, it is expensive but one pot last ages)

for flakiness, do you use an eye cream before makeup? you should do this first. Then corrector if you like, then concealer, then a dab of setting powder (mine is laura mercier translucent powder)

Hello bendy avocado concealer, it's really really good. Never cakes or creases

OhFlipMama · 13/12/2018 23:03

I've ordered the Boing Hydrating one hope it arrives soon!

I moisturise, a lot! I use an eye cream or gel depending which room I'm in because I grab what's closest (!) and then usually some kind of primer.

I can't go near powder, anything and everything shows up dryness on my skin, even where I didn't notice it before.

That’s the one I use! Just seem on the link that the concealer is the core and the balm around the outside! Anyway, it’s very good and worth the spend
