about hair.

Went to hairdresser as roots were showing. She said that (although I had asked for a slightly darker version of what I had and to get rid of roots), she didn't have time to do a full head and suggested a Balyage. She showed me a few photos and said that it was a good way of blending roots with the blonde and would look natural.
It was dark outside when I came out, and she had curled my hair.
Seeing it in the daylight today with my hair straight, the dark dye is not a good match for my natural colour at all, and it seems like too much of an obvious line in the hair. Am going back tomorrow, but she was quite unpleasant on the phone, said it was what I asked for and didn't think there would be she could d o! So is she right, before I go in all guns blazing? Is this truly what a Balyage looks like, and am just going to suck it up and apologise?

The B thing is when they freestyle paint the highlights on your hair so it looks natural. But not with massive roots!
I would go in and ask them to sort the roots out. Then don't go back!

To me it just looks like you need to go to the hairdresser. It was the roots that needed doing.
