Where can I get a padded bra that isn't really uncomfortable?

I need help! My options are currently my old comfy bras that are now so baggy I might as well not wear one, or my new ones that are really itchy and/or dig in under the armpits.

I used to get them from Ultimate in Debenhams - half cup, underwired and padded - but the quality seems to have gone downhill. I've seen comfortable bras from M&S recommended on here, but I went to have a look at them and none of them are padded. My boobs are pitiful after breastfeeding and I need the extra boost!

Can anyone recommend some? I'm a 32b/c if that helps.

i went to john lewis and a lovely lady did a fitting for me. u need to book them. my size was entirely wrong before. she did say that i would find them uncomfortable till i got used to them though as i was so used to have an old one that wasnt doing its job. they should be tight round the ribs.

Might be worth reading this measuring guide to make sure you’re actually choosing the right size. I can’t remember what percentage of women are in the wrong size bra, but it’s a lot

Thanks Dreamingofsun. I did try JL but they seem to cater more (like M&S) for larger breasted women - there were hardly any padded ones.

SlowlyShrinking - I followed that measuring guide a while ago and it seemed to suggest that I'm actually a 30c, which seems to be a size that nowhere stocks?! Very frustrating.

I have this one

Light padding

It’s taken me a long time to not feel shit about myself in a bra that doesn’t have loads of padding! This one is a sort of in between. Gives a bit of shape but not loads. I am a 30D but boobs like fried eggs. This one is very comfy

Thanks theuntameableshew - that looks really comfy! I note that it has removable pads. Reckon I could squeeze in some chicken fillets into the space for the pads to get a bit more boost?!

I think you most likely could it’s quite stretchy!

I like the Gilly Hicks brand (available at Hollister) they seem to be well fitting and comfortable for the small of boob. They do a padded and super padded.

Thanks WholsBU, i'll check it out.
