Please help me get my glow back!

I’m a mom to a 13 month old boy and he is awesome.

But I looo like an utter wreck. I’m only 34! I was looking at some pics of me just before he was born - and even just after - and I looked so much more youthful. My skin is dull and starting to sag, crows feet have started to appear and the dark circles under my eyes make me look like I’ve taken up cage fighting!

I have a swanky works do on Friday I would like to look my best for... but also want to know long term solutions too? Will I get my glow back when I get more sleep/have time to exercise/eat healthy? I already drink loads and loads of water as still breastfeeding.

Thank you!

As a short term fix try Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Primer. I have a cold, feel a bit grim but a coating of this on its own, with powder and blush makes me look very healthy.

I like bare minerals. I got a kit with a variety of skin products including powder and blusher. It really helps me to not look like death warmed up.

I had this and my skin has massively changed and looks loads better since using the body shop fruit peel once a week and burts bees hydration mask- I recommend both of these and they're on the cheaper side of products you can buy for your face at about £20 and £15.

do you eat enough healthy fats? that makes a huge difference to the skin.

Take breastfeeding / nursing vitamins (pregnacare do them). They make a huge difference.

you need to feed your skin from the inside. 34 is pretty young to be noticing these changes.

Do you eat these on a daily basis?

a small avocado
almonds and walnuts
olive oil
oily fish
leafy green veg

avoid sugar as it damages skin.

Use spf 50 every day , 365 days a year.

Thank you so much for replying

I do eat healthy fats but not every day so I need to get on that... or at least supplement!

I use a lot of ordinary products - twice per week peel as well as vit c and they do make a bit of a difference but I still look like death warmed up!
