DH's work Christmas meal....outfit ideas needed

What would you wear for a Christmas meal in a (nice) chain restaurant mid week? There will only be 8 of us.
Everything I have is very dressy or very casual and I always struggle with the middle ground.
Help would be very much appreciated as it's tomorrow 🙈

I’s probably wear a dress with black tights and flat shoes.

No, loads of people will be properly dressy. You can’t go wrong with a LBD.

Was really hoping to wear skinny jeans and a white shirt! I have lost my Christmas spirit this year!
Ok, off to have a rummage through the wardrobe. I have a simple-ish monsoon black dress that makes me look a good half a stone lighter. I'll start with that.

I'd go with skinny jeans and a dressy top in a festive colour/sparkly or maybe heels and big jewellery.

Wear the jeans and shirt if that's what you fancy. Feeling good is always the best option.

Think I've got it ladies. Chiffon shirt dress in navy with ankle boots. Looks ok, feels ok, not too dressy but I'm out of my jeans. Bring on the wine 🎄
