Easy, bouncy soft curls - how?

Any recommendations for an easy to use set of tongs/curling wand to give my fine shoulder length hair a nice Christmassy curly bounce? Any tips on how to do this and what products to use to hold it in place without falling out in ten minutes. Thank you!

Babyliss Curl secret? Not cheap but works wonders on my shoulder length fine hair.

I'm a fan of heated rollers as the curls stay in well but it takes a bit of time to get the hang of placement

GHD curve classic wave wand. Not cheap but recommended on here to me and it is fabulous. Youtube vids help with knowing how to use it.
