Can you get away with it? Work as a christmas temp at next where dress code is smart casual and lots of people are in jeans. Think I look fat in jeans so would rather wear a dress but not with tights

I would

Cheerbear23 · 13/12/2018 22:03

I think in that scenario it would be fine.

Cherries101 · 13/12/2018 22:06

Yes it’s fine provided you wear boots and the leggings aren’t transparent. Alternatively opaque tights are better

Minta85 · 13/12/2018 22:41

I wear dresses with black leggings and knee boots for my office job. Can’t stand tights!

squishee · 13/12/2018 22:47

I do it all the time. It's fine. Hate the restrictive feel of tights.

Mummblebee · 13/12/2018 22:48

Sounds good to me

TulipsInbloom1 · 13/12/2018 22:48

I wear black leggings (jet black and thick enough for 100% coverage!), plus a tunic or dress and black ankle boots every day at work. Smart casual.

In fact next leggings are my preference.
