Is this Christmas party or funeral?

Christmas work night out. Meal in a posh restaurant followed by a booth in a night club. I'm 33 size 20 not really down with the kids but work with quite a few young people. I don't want to look too dressed up or "wrong" and because of my size I don't want to stand out too much (I know that's my own issue to deal with!) Anyway. Saw this but is it right?!

Party! Too lacy for a funeral, perfect for a party.

Unless you wanted to play grieving theatrical Gold digger widow with a veiled hat for a funeral.

I definitely wouldn't wear that to a funeral!

Ok maybe not a funeral but I don't want to look over dressed for the party
