Jumper board?

Tootrousers · 11/12/2018 11:45

I really fancy one of these to fry jumpers on to keep their shape and size. Even when washing wool jumpers by hand I find that the bottom line of knit often shrinks in and needs to be stretched out again. I do dry them flat but need a way to keep the bottom the right size. Board seem to be an outdated old fashioned thing and I can’t find one for sale anywhere. Any tips where to get one or how to stop wool jumpers Shrinking around the bottom?

Piece of cardboard/wood cut to size?

Thanks for the replies. I’d forgotten Lakeland but unfortunately they don’t have anything. I had thought about a piece of board cut to size but I really wanted a proper adjustable one that can be used for my smaller jumpers and my husbands larger ones.

I have a wooly horse, jumper board that I've had since I lived in Shetland many years ago - love it. Worth checking out Jamieson and Smith to see if they know where you could get one.
