How do you make your hair curl under at the ends?

I have to straighten my hair as it's frizzy and awful otherwise no matter what I've tried. However I hate the ends being pointy!

I much prefer a curl under, how do you achieve this? I can't do it with straighteners

Blow dry with a round brush?

Itsmyarmsthatarecold · 11/12/2018 07:11

I've tried that but I still need to straighten afterwards so I need to do something after straightening..

What straighteners are you using? Mine do it really well - angle them about 90 degrees for the last bit of hair.

I do it with straighteners, just angle them a bit inwards as you get to the ends of your hair

ButFirstTea · 11/12/2018 07:48

Blow dry the ends again after straightening, use the cool setting on your hairdryer.

I've got ghds but when I try and angle them I just get a weird kink in my hair

Babyliss Big Hair. Rough dry with hairdryer and then all over with Babyliss Big Hair. It’s always as smooth as when straightened but curls under.

You’re nearly there then. Keep practicing until you can achieve the same thing but smoothly: Literally wait until you’re just before the top of your hair and then gently turn the straighteners under. You need to keep them in line with your head.

I bet there’s a video tutorial on YouTube you could watch.

Do the bottom sections with god then after straightening stick top sections in Velcro’s

Heated hairbrush

This. I just have a cheap JML one.

You're moving the straighteners too slowly if you end up with a funny kink. Clasp the hair in the straightener from the front then try 2/3 swift downward strokes turning the angle to about 45 degrees about an inch off the ends.
