Eye make up remover with some clout?

Love the Hourglass Caution Extreme Lash mascara, but my Liz Earle C&P, which is usually fine for all make up removal, is not up to the job of removing this stuff.
Any recommendations for an eye make up remover for tough jobs, budget or high end?

I find the Clinique one in the purple bottle good. It's oily and lasts a good while.

I wear hourglass extreme caution & the only thing I find that gets it off is Wilko own brand eye make up remover.

I think it’s called skin, it’s £1. Seriously, it’s really good & gentle on the eye area.

Nicpem1982 · 10/12/2018 11:10

I use micellar water its brilliant

Bloomini · 10/12/2018 11:12

Liz Earle c&p is not eye make-up remover though? Try body shop camomile eye make-up remover?

evilharpy · 10/12/2018 11:40

This from Nivea is amazing at shifting my Maybelline waterproof mascara that micellar water didn’t even touch.

Sorry too hasty...

Yes, Nivea Double Effect is brilliant (and I wear a LOT of layers of mascara) and removes everything.

I've recently discovered Clinique take off the day cleansing balm!

You rub on with fingers and it literally melts everything (I wear a full face nearly every day) then take a damp cloth to remove and the results have been a complete game changer to me!

Another vote for Nivea double effect! Also it's really inexpensive and the bottle lasts for ages

macnab · 10/12/2018 14:49

The Double Effect by Nivea is brilliant - but last year I discovered that Lidl do their own version of this and I'd swear its exactly the same only half the price, so now I buy it there!

darlingShelby · 10/12/2018 15:22

I use the simple cleansing oil around my eyes... gently...it desolves all my make up by breaking it down.
No scrubbing.
I use LRP gentle cleanser on my face afterwards/ including my eyes.
Nothing left over in the morning at all!

florriepeck · 10/12/2018 18:08

Thanks, everyone: will get some Double Effect to try.

Just plain baby oil should do the trick

FoodGloriousFud · 10/12/2018 18:29

Lancôme bi-facil is my go to.

expatmigrant · 10/12/2018 18:41

Body Shop Camomile Eye make up remover. Been using it for 30 years

CinnamonSweet73 · 10/12/2018 19:46

I was at a Sali Hughes event at the weekend and she also recommended the Nivea! I need to get some myself to try.
