Microblading eyebrows - some questions if you’ve had it done!

Can you choose how dark they go?

I’ve dark blonde hair and definitely don’t want black brows!

Do you have much input into the shape?

Are you glad you got it done?

Any words of advice?

Thanks

Love mine.
Had them done Saturday. Got to choose the colour and shape. The lady told me what she recommends and I was happy with it.
Not painful at all.

Ollivander84 · 11/12/2018 18:24

@JoyceDivision they were very, very good. Not a line done without supervision! And it took them maybe 45 mins to mark mine up and pick the colour

JoyceDivision · 11/12/2018 20:44

Thanks @Ollivander84 I am.v excited and nervous! Hardly wear make up so these are going to have to be the most natural brows drawn on ever.... All thanks to the Mumsnet fame of your brows! Grin

I had mine done with semi permanent makeup (tattooing) - it has a fair few advantages over microblading. I'm going for a top up next week a year after my last one. I love them!

I go here - based in Essex. www.facebook.com/Poppyscosmetics/

Lottapianos · 11/12/2018 20:53

Roughly how much are you paying, folks?

JoyceDivision · 11/12/2018 21:29

Mine about _150 because it will be a student, had it been booked with the owner it would of been about £400 I think.

bobstersmum · 12/12/2018 12:34

I really want mine doing, I am in lancs, so is it approx £400 then?

JoyceDivision · 12/12/2018 17:32

@Bobster if you use the one in Manchester then booking with the lady who owns it / does the brows then yes, about 400 and depending on flexibility between 6 -9months for an app? I'm going to the training academy so got a Feb app, and a lot cheaper

HelenRose1111 · 13/12/2018 11:54

Where is this Manchester place, exactly and how do you book?
I'm on blood thinners (maintenance dose) - does anyone know if I could have micropigmentation/microblading? It's not Warfarin that I'm on :|

JoyceDivision · 13/12/2018 12:07

Will get info unless ollivander84 beats me to it! Will pm you

bobstersmum · 13/12/2018 12:09

Oooh please can I have the details? I don't know how to get a pm though? I'm only on the app.

I know this thread is a few weeks old but I'm having a freak out and need some advice. Had microblading down yesterday and omg it's so dark! It's also quite a thick line. I love the shape though. Please tell me this is normal for day 2 and it will all settle down.

Offredismysister · 23/01/2019 21:41

Yep, completely normal. Mine were full on fake black slug brow, but settled down nicely.

Then around day 7 they faded so bad & I wished the slug brow was back!

Mine settled completely after 3 weeks & I was very happy. I had them redone after 15 months with the same results.

Gumps · 24/01/2019 00:07

Thank you that is so helpful. The therapist sent me a great meme of Kim kardashian going through the phases of recovery. That helped too. Hoping for some fading tomorrow!
