Phase Eight Becca dress

Recommended on here. It is lovely, fabric is very nice, quality good, flattering comfortable but it's also very short. Or am I doing it wrong?

I'm 5 foot 10.
I looked like a hooker (think Julia Roberts/1980s). Husband thought it was hilarious. So it's going back.

It's good for a going out dress, but you need leggings with it for daytime. I think there are longer and shorter versions though.

Such a shame because it's the sort of thing I'd get loads of wear from. Comfy, go anywhere and good with comfy boots. But it is too short (even though DH is trying to persuade me that it's a good look on a 50yo with knee high boots )

I had the same problem with the Becca dress (and the fact I've decided this style doesn't actually suit me) but whilst scrolling through every site I could possibly find trying to find a dress for a work thing last week, I saw this:

I won't be trying it (aforementioned not suiting issue) but for a second I thought, ooh long sort of version of the dress I spent some time trying to get to suit me!

Too short for me and I am only 5'3" I do not think I own a single Phase Eight item - something about their cut is always so very wrong on me. I either look incredibly frumpy or like I am trying too hard.

Try the Hush Tara dress - now that makes me feel like a trillion dollars.

Brilliant for me at 5 ft 1 and a size 8. Any taller and I would be in hooker territory. Finally a dress made for short people!! I wear it with thick tights and either knee length or ankle boots during the day or heels in the evening.
