Anyone tried it? Just wanted to hear opinions.

I have bought both but they’ve not arrived yet.

NiceUnusualDifferent · 09/12/2018 17:54

The cleanser was quite nice to use but caused breakouts for me. I won’t be able to try the moisturiser as it has niacinamide in which I don’t get along with.

stayfit · 09/12/2018 20:12

Thanks for feedback. Hearing mixed feedback so wanted to ask here before splurging that much.

Hate the cleanser. It’s too thick and it makes my face dry and red.

SparkleTheTinselKitten · 09/12/2018 23:59

I get on pretty well with the cleanser.

namechangedforanon · 10/12/2018 00:07

Cleanser is amazing - genuinely thought my skin couldn’t get any better ( I’ve been on her advice for 2 years now ) and I love it , on my third bottle .

Anyone who doesn’t get on with it should email her feedback .

I’m waiting on my moisturizer now

apairofblueeyes100 · 10/12/2018 12:02

This is my current cleanser and my skin has never been so soft. On the back of this I bought the moisturizer - which I also like. My skin is hydrated and glowing. I like the fact that both these products have been formulated by a proper dermatologist - I can definitely recommend both these products.

stayfit · 10/12/2018 13:20

Thanks all for the feedback! I am tempted to try the cleanser now. The la roche toleriane I am using is about to run out!

I’ve used that too and sometimes still use it . I now prefer Dr Sams but do admit the LRP is cheaper 😂

onemouseplace · 10/12/2018 13:43

I've got the cleanser and I like it - I do think it is a touch drying for my skin so only use it in the evenings, but I'm happy with it and will repurchase. I like that it's so thick - I find it nice and grippy to massage in.

I haven't tried the moisturiser yet - I'm a client of Dr Sam's and actually have a appointment booked for the new year so thought I'd leave it until I see her to pick so up and find out whether it's definitely suitable for my skin.

namechangedforanon · 10/12/2018 15:37

Me too! I love her .

carr1e1977 · 10/12/2018 15:38

I have the cleanser. Its fine but really nothing special. I won't be repurchasing once it's finished.

Rexy · 10/12/2018 19:29

I'm on my third bottle of cleanser and love it, have combination skin and use actives but I love it. I'm getting her moisturiser next.

See her Youtube videos as Dr Sam in the City.
She knows her onions and recommends affordable skin care.
I'm no way affiliated to her btw.

namechangedforanon · 10/12/2018 19:54

Me neither . Her videos changed my skin then I went to see her and she took me to a whole new level

Lumene · 10/12/2018 21:26

namechanged do you have to do prescription retinoids to get to the next level?

namechangedforanon · 10/12/2018 23:04

Lumene no - I got there with BHAs and Paulas Choice retinols and the ordinary retinols with lots of hydration .

And no bloody face oil - as Dr Sam states they can make the skin dull - totally agree

namechangedforanon · 10/12/2018 23:04

How come you’re anti prescription retinoids btw ?

stayfit · 11/12/2018 09:28

@namechangedforanon did she recommend those for you?

Interesting about skin oils. I use rosehip and felt it's helping the hydration levels.

I have acne scars from my teen years and still get around period dates and would really like to consult a dr but worried about the costs. I might call to find out how much it costs.

Why is this the pic for this chat? Hmm

Dr Sam's cleanser and moisturizer
Lumene · 11/12/2018 11:14

Thanks namechanged. I’m not against prescription retinoids per se - would take them for really bad skin for eg. But for anti-ageing I’m reluctant as there are some doctors who are unsure of the long-term safety.

TantricTwist · 11/12/2018 18:50

cariadcat because someone has made an error, these things happen.

I really like the cleanser OP. I have senstive combination skin and it really seems to suit me. I do have add an extra splash of water to it mid cleanse but that's no biggie.

cariadcat · 12/12/2018 07:11

tantrictwist I just thought it was funny, I wasn't annoyed ha
