I am looking for black opaque tights - can get to M&S, Next, Peacocks, Dorothy Perkins, Boots, Tesco, Asda. Oh, and an independent department store that sells high end stuff! 😊

Any recs please?

I buy all mine from Sainsbury's.

Horsemad · 08/12/2018 18:34

😟 can't get to Sainsbury's!

New Look are meant to sell decent tights! Usually get mine from Asda.

Daisymay2 · 08/12/2018 18:40

Probably isnt helpful but I recently bought a pair of M&S thermal tights (about £8 or £9)which are opaque and fabulously warm. ( I volunteer at somewhere it is very cold since the heating packed up).
I have bought F&F opaques from Tesco in the past and they were fine.

Amazonian27 · 08/12/2018 18:43

Snag tights online takes about 5 days got delivery but stay up well and far superior to other brands

Horsemad · 08/12/2018 18:57

I can get to New Look, so might give them a whirl. 😀
Thanks!

M&S if you want quality ones which last!

Thumbellini · 08/12/2018 20:20

M&S! I buy the 3 packs and they last for ages

Horsemad · 08/12/2018 20:53

Oh ok, am happy to try M&S 😊 What's the sizing like?

OP posts:
Hiphopopotamous · 08/12/2018 20:56

I love M&S! I always buy a large (5'9 size 10) and they don't need adjusting/pulling up all day!

Hannnnnnnxo · 08/12/2018 21:39

Definitely H&M. I prefer sheer black/20 den tights, but I don’t think there should be too much of a difference between the material quality between these and their opaque tights. The ones I buy are decent and last, no need to pull up etc. Can’t fault them.

ginyogarepeat · 08/12/2018 22:18

M&S body sensor ones are fab!

SparkleTheTinselKitten · 09/12/2018 05:15

Have some M&S 180 denier heatgen ones which are amazing.

EmmaGrundyForPM · 09/12/2018 05:30

A friend has recommended Heist tights to me. They cost a fortune but she swears by them. I've just ordered a pair so I'll see if they are any good, or if I've just thrown £25 down the drain.

bebesequin · 09/12/2018 08:16

TKMaxx
Marks have become rubbish in my humble opinion
Primark ones last for ages
Wolford if you have the pennies to splash

PoshPenny · 09/12/2018 08:22

I only buy m&s ones, my daughters now only buy from m&s too.

Nquartz · 09/12/2018 08:30

Always Boots, their satin soft 100 & 200 denier are lovely

Nquartz · 09/12/2018 08:31

Or they've got some which are seam free, super comfy & worth the extra couple of quid

Lucked · 09/12/2018 08:31

M&s autograph tights, I am tall and these are great.

ChippyMinton · 09/12/2018 08:33

Primark or M&S

Horsemad · 09/12/2018 08:40

So, M&S or Boots then! Thanks for all the responses by the way 😊
I don't want shiny ones (I don't think I do, anyway). What denier will be opaque?

OP posts:
Fantastiqueangel · 09/12/2018 08:43

Asda. The £3.50 for one pair type. I love them.

Hiphopopotamous · 09/12/2018 09:06

Most of mine are 60s, very opaque and not shiny (M&S)

TheWombat · 09/12/2018 09:28

I like M&S autograph velvet touch tights. £10.00 for 60 denier so pricey for the high street, but they are super soft, super matte and they look really high end.

Gwenhwyfar · 14/12/2018 20:00

Primark.
I don't understand people saying Asda and Sainsburys. You don't get massive supermarkets large enough to stock clothes on the high street.
