Need a replacement for Clarins Skin Illusion Foundation

Clarins Skin Illusion foundation has been my favourite foundation for the last few years and this year they have reformulated it and the reviews are terrible! I wish beauty companies wouldn't do this, if it's not broken don't fix it!

Have any other fans of the old style Skin Illusion foundation found a suitable alternative? I've tried No7 Perfect Superlight Foundation but the coverage and staying power aren't great.

I'm pale with combination skin, prone to breakouts and prefer an oil free formulation that gives a natural but longlasting finish. Can anyone help with a recommendation?

I really like the new skin illusion foundation but it has made me break out on the odd occasion and I never break out usually. I think it's the spf in it.
I really like the No 7 serum foundation but I'm not sure if this is the same one as the one you say you don't like.
Others I have tried and liked are Urban decay naked skin (not All Nighter....that is like paint!) And Nars Sheer Glow.
I have tried the Lauder light double wear water or whatever it's called but that lasts about an hour before disappearing and I have quite dry skin.

Hi

I am having same problem, managed to get an old formula bottle but now its finished and I need an alternative to my much loved Skin Illusion. What did you go for? thanks

I wondered what they had done to it. I recently ordered a new bottle, and when it arrived with a dropper and in what seems to be a thicker consistency, I thought for a moment that I'd made a mistake with my order.
I'm really disappointed, as it's taken ages to find a shade (amber) which matches my skin colour exactly, so I can put the foundation just on my chin and nose, and feather it out seamlessly. The new formula is a bit gloopy for that.
