Tan Tights

I have a purple dress that I want to wear a pair of sock boots with. The dress is midi length but I will be freezing with bare legs. Are their any good "invisible" Tan Tights I could get that won't make me feel self conscious in? I've always felt like my granny when I've tried them in the past!

I don't want to wear black opaque either. I don't think they will suit the dress.

It's just never a good look, could you wear cropped leggings underneath to keep you warm? If it's midi length no one would see.
